House Rules

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: From 3:00 PM. Check-out: By 10:00 AM. Please return your key fob when you leave.
• Valid photo ID is required from the lead guest at check-in.
• Guests must be aged 18 or over to book and check in.

No Smoking

The Cumbrian Hotel is a completely smoke-free property. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is not permitted anywhere on the premises, including bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and the area immediately outside the building.

A deep-cleaning charge of up to £150 will be levied if smoking is detected in a room.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are in effect between 22:00 and 07:00. During these times, please keep noise levels to a minimum, including music and conversations in corridors, out of respect for other guests.

No Parties or Events

Parties, gatherings, or events of any kind are not permitted in guest rooms or communal areas. Rooms are for sleeping accommodation only. The maximum occupancy of each room must not be exceeded unless an additional guest has been agreed with us in advance.

Pets

Pets are not allowed. Assistance dogs for guests with disabilities are always welcome. Tell us at the time of booking.

Children

Children of all ages are welcome. Please note that we do not currently provide cots or extra beds. Children sharing a room with adults must use an existing bed. Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision of children throughout the stay.

Room Care

• Please treat rooms and communal areas with care. Any damage caused will be charged to the responsible guest.
• Do not remove towels, linen, or any Hotel property from your room.
• Please dispose of rubbish in the bins provided.
• Report any maintenance issues to reception as soon as possible.

Visitors

Non-resident visitors are not permitted in guest rooms. If you wish to meet someone at the Hotel, please do so in communal areas and ensure they have departed before quiet hours begin.

Security & CCTV

CCTV is in operation in all public and communal areas of the Hotel for the safety of guests and staff. Rooms are accessed by key fob and one fob is issued per room. Please keep it secure and report a lost fob to us immediately; a charge is made for a replacement.

Right to Refuse

The Hotel reserves the right to refuse entry or to ask any guest to leave without refund if these rules are breached, or if the behaviour of any guest is deemed disruptive, abusive, or harmful to other guests or staff.
